![]() 05/01/2018 at 10:59 |

Is it bad that I like this???
![]() 05/01/2018 at 10:59 |

This goes on all roads imo

![]() 05/01/2018 at 11:02 |

Yes. And it’s worse that I kinda do too.

Wow oppp is the best! What ever happened to that guy who replaced the motor on his lifted allroad? I’m guessing he is still out on the trails
![]() 05/01/2018 at 11:06 |
|
The best part is that is that it’s lowered! bahahahahaha
![]() 05/01/2018 at 11:06 |
|
LOL but why is that worse?
![]() 05/01/2018 at 11:11 |

If we’re gonna do this, we can at least make them green.
![]() 05/01/2018 at 11:12 |

Because it means I’ve been sucked into your delusion.

this chappy?
https://jalopnik.com/here-s-exactly-what-it-cost-to-turn-the-worlds-least-re-1794042682
looks that that was pretty much his last article written for Jalopnik. It is entirely possible he is indeed now stuck for eternity out on the trail, likely with a broken allroad :D

Oo I had an 04 in green
![]() 05/01/2018 at 11:21 |

Come join us on the dark (and wood paneled) side!
![]() 05/01/2018 at 11:30 |

Brown (diesel) Allroad exactly like the one my boss drives (though his has a white/very light cream interior)
![]() 05/01/2018 at 11:30 |

While I like it, true allroads have airride. The new gen is just a lifted A6
![]() 05/01/2018 at 11:32 |

If that is the car I’m thinking of, it has quite a few Porsche parts. I had looked into doing a Porsche brake swap but it died before I got that far.
![]() 05/01/2018 at 11:33 |

Are we talking A4 Allroads or A6 Allroads?
![]() 05/01/2018 at 11:33 |
|
That with the cream interior must be nice
![]() 05/01/2018 at 11:36 |

Look, three identical All-Roads.

![]() 05/01/2018 at 11:38 |

ALL! a6 a4 a12, a2! whatever allroads are allroads :D
![]() 05/01/2018 at 11:41 |

Original allroad is best allroad

First, and most importantly, I hope everything goes well for mini-OPPOsaurus!
Secondly... is this a gif of an air suspension failing? (I kid. There are 3 VAG products in my driveway, and no CELs. Then again, they’re all off right now.)

That is my wife, she was rather amused. Thankfully that era of outback is slowly getting replaced by newer versions so ours is easier to pick out from the line up.
![]() 05/01/2018 at 11:51 |

In that bright green? I especially like the current emerald.
![]() 05/01/2018 at 11:52 |

Our second Olds paneled wagon looked exactly like that picture. That and its predecessor served me well.

I’m not an Allroad person, or a VW Alltrack person.
I’m okay with the Skoda Octavia Scout though.
![]() 05/01/2018 at 12:01 |

It definitely is! It’s something I would have never ordered personally, however when seeing it in person it quite surprised me.
![]() 05/01/2018 at 12:11 |

lol, I had assumed it was a gif showing off adjustable suspension, but a gif showing off failing suspension seems more likely :D
![]() 05/01/2018 at 12:23 |

Ours was a ‘79 Caprice Classic Estate, dark red along with the wood paneling.
Not all that different, other than cheaper interior materials because Chevy. It was a great car.
![]() 05/01/2018 at 12:25 |

Fair point - unless it’s got that infamous 2.7TTV6 and air suspension, it’s not a ‘real’ Allroad.
![]() 05/01/2018 at 12:30 |

That would be the one. Mine had a 6 speed. It was glorious for about 8 months and then EVERYTHING broke
![]() 05/01/2018 at 12:39 |

It was. When it started to go, my dad bought another white one. But he didn’t really want another wagon. We convinced him to trade it in and get what he really wanted: a Trofeo.
I wish I still had the green ‘73 wagon though. That’s was a huge part of my childhood.
![]() 05/01/2018 at 13:18 |

I love the ‘71-76 GM full-sized wagons. Some of the biggest cars to ever come out of Detroit. Pure ‘Murica, and I’m not sure you could get one with less than about a 400 CID V8.
But the best part of those cars was that tailgate!
![]() 05/01/2018 at 13:22 |
|
Yes! Although ours was repainted, and the new green wasn’t nearly as glorious, even though the factory paint code was the same. Still, green is green.
![]() 05/01/2018 at 13:22 |

The All roads was just a poor imitation of what he really wanted:

That looks like fun
